Almost 80 new homewatch schemes have been set up
AN OPERATION aimed at areas that have suffered increases in crime has been a success.
Almost 80 new homewatch schemes have been set up as part of Operation Resolute, organised by Neighbourhood Policing Teams for the Leigh area.
More than 2,000 homes were visited by PCSOs during the three-week operation.
