THE second phase of a Glazebury garden centre’s £10 million redevelopment is about to begin.
Bents Garden & Home is on a mission to become the North West’s ultimate garden, home and leisure destination through a major expansion programme that will see the food hall double in size.
A children’s play area and community allotments will also be built before phase two is completed at the end of 2014.
Managing director Matthew Bent said: “Feedback on the work we’ve carried out to date has been extremely positive and despite growing in size we want to retain all the great things we already do. We want to keep the great feeling and ambiance we have worked hard to create but in a bigger store.”
Phase three of the plans will see a two-storey glazed atrium and new entrance area built.
