Dave Woods is recognised as the main BBC radio broadcaster for rugby league
THE perils and pitfalls of live radio sports broadcasting will be the focus of a talk for the Over Hulton Community Group.
Current BBC Radio 5 Live rugby league and football broadcaster Dave Woods will be the guest speaker on Thursday, January 23.
Local man Mr Woods is recognised as the main BBC radio broadcaster for rugby league since the retirement of Ray French.
Tickets for the event, which will take place at the Over Hulton Conservative Club at 8pm, are £3 and can be purchased by calling John Bullen on 01942 874719 or emailing j.bullen1@ntlworld.com.
