Enrol now for place in Bacup and Stacksteads carnival
BACUP and Stacksteads Carnival Organisation is encouraging participants to fill in an application form.
The event, on Sunday, June 29 has already confirmed 10 stalls, five parade entries, and five stage displays.
Last year, the 60th anniversary parade featured floats from The RAFT Foundation, Rossendale’s foodbank, Rossendale Round Table and the Sophie Lancaster Foundation.
There were also displays by children from Bacup Nursery School, St Saviour’s Primary School, Stacksteads Methodist Playgroup and Dansworks.
Carnival-goers were asked to bring a tin or packet of food for the foodbank, and half the event’s takings were given to the charity.
