A BAND are to reunite for a one-off gig after almost 40 years apart.
The Pressmen are getting back together to bring some of their 50s and 60s-styled music to Leigh Masonic Hall on March 22 to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Care.
Jim Yates, Bernard Southern, Tony Owens, Eric White and Malc Hurst developed a sizeable following in the 1960s around Leigh and all of them have gone on to have successful careers in music.
Tickets for the 8pm event, which will include an appearance from former Twisted Wheel DJ Bobby Dee, are £5 and can be bought from the hall or by calling Jim on 01942 706481.
