A SOCIAL group is being launched in Hindley.
The Wigan Branch of the Oddfellows, a friendly society which provides social activities, care and support, is launching a new Care to Share social lunch group which will meet on the first Friday of every month, starting March 7.
The regular open-to-all socials will take place at Tudor House, Hindley Community Centre on Leigh Road from 12pm until 2pm.
Oddfellows social organiser Christine Ward-Mills said: "These friendly socials are a chance to hear about how our team and members can help you and a great way to find out if you could use your skills to become more involved in the community by helping others."
