TAKE Me Out contestant Kyrie Allsopp has revealed she was “disappointed” by her lack of coverage on the show — but hinted that she would like to pursue more TV opportunities in the future.

Miss Allsopp, who comes from Deane but now lives in Atherton, joined the last series of the dating show hosted by fellow Boltonian Paddy McGuinness on February 1, and after heavy editing the 24-year-old barely said a word throughout her time on the programme.

Despite this, the kids’ club holiday rep remains positive about her experience and says she has made some lifelong friends, and hopes that she will be able to find Mr Right in the future.

She said: “I was disappointed that my answers were cut out of the shows, but it turned out I was on screen a lot because Paddy kept speaking to the two girls next to me.

“I’m not really bothered because I am a great believer that things happen for a reason and I’m hoping that there will be more TV show opportunities in the future. I haven’t got anything concrete as yet, but I would like to pursue more TV work.

“I did want a date and to go to Fernandos but I was genuinely playing the game so when the last single man came out and I simply didn’t think he was for me, I turned my light off despite knowing that was game over for me.”

Miss Allsopp says she is still looking for her “single man” to reveal himself.

She said: “I have been on a few dates since the TV show ended, but nothing serious as yet. I’m just going with the flow.

“I’m still looking for love but I am still just enjoying the buzz from the show at the moment. Plus it was great to meet Paddy of course.

“I’ve made some really good friends off the back of Take Me Out. We had the wrap party in Manchester last weekend which was lots of fun, and we’re already talking about going to Bristol and then Dublin for more meet-ups.”
