THOUSANDS of pounds are up for grabs to fund community projects thanks to a Leigh housing company.
Adactus Housing Association (AHA) is inviting individuals, residents groups, community groups, charitable organisations and social enterprises to bid for a share of its £23,000 Neighbourhood Fund.
AHA has supported 20 projects in Wigan and Leigh in the last year through grants from the fund.
These projects have included community arts projects, healthy living events, equipment for community facilities and activities for young people.
Regional Manager at AHA Mike Murphy said: “Our Neighbourhood Fund offers local people a ray of light with the chance to bid for a share of a £23,000 community cash pot.
“The application process for the fund is straightforward and our Neighbourhood Development team are always happy to offer help and advice.”
