MUSIC, dance and vintage vehicles will once again grace the Meadowbank playing fields with the return of Atherton Carnival.

Plans are already under way for this year's festivities which will be held on June 22 and will feature vintage vehicles, bands, drummers, dancers and much more.

Organisers are holding a fundraiser on April 26 at Laburnum Rovers football club in Atherton, hosted by the DJ Kenny with singing from Krisshan.

The carnival committee has already received a donation from the Bent and Bongs beer festival.

To take part in the carnival or buy tickets for the charity event, contact organisers Brian and Eileen Seddon on 01942 870872 or 07952 022111.
