AN accountant is in the running to win an award.
Kirsty MacDonald, who works at Golborne accountancy practice Jackson Stephen LLP, is one of five people who have been shortlisted in the young accountant of the year category in the North West Young Professionals awards.
The winner will be announced at a ceremony in May.
