PUBLICANS faced their fears to walk over a bed of hot coals for charity.

Regulars at The Millstone in Golborne braved the burning ashes to raise £1,100 for Little Heroes who help children with cancer.

There was also a bike ride from the Millstone to Blackpool on Saturday to raise funds to help Braiden Lee Prescott, who has neuroblastoma, to travel to America for an operation.

It took the group around three and a half hours to complete the ride to raise £600 so far.
