AN EVENT is being held to inform residents about services and opportunities available for people with disabilities.
‘Moving on – through transition and beyond’ has been organised by Wigan Council, Mencap, Embrace and WLCT and will be held at Leigh Miners Welfare Institute next Thursday, May 15, from 1pm until 7pm.
More than 50 groups and organisations which offer a variety of social care support and specialist services for people with a range of disabilities will have information stands at the event.
