THE search is continuing for a 51-year-old man missing with his pet terrapin for more than a month.
Trevor Whitehead was last seen in Accrington on April 9.
Mr Whitehead, who works as a customer adviser at the Barnoldswick branch of the Skipton Building Society, is a nature enthusiast, who spends his spare time walking. He is a former wildlife photographer, and also a botanist and birdwatcher.
Concerns are continuing to grow for his welfare. Police said it was possible he could still be in Lancashire.
Mr Whitehead is 5ft 7ins, of medium build, with a fair complexion and short grey hair. He was last seen wearing either a red waterproof coat, or a dark green, or camouflage, jacket with green Wellington boots and a dark rucksack.
Anybody with information about his whereabouts should call 101.
