A CHILDREN’S play area is bringing the outdoors inside.
Charlie Park as a soft play centre for children themed on a traditional outside park but with the added bonus of being unaffected by the weather will open its doors on Saturday, May 17, at Atherton’s Victoria Mill.
The play area has a small frame aimed at exploration, adventure and physical play for children aged six months to four years and a larger frame for children aged four to 11.
Sean Halliwell, joint owner with his partner Claire Tinsley, said: “It is all built on bringing the outdoors in. We have turned posts into trees and the cafe has a picnic area.”
Children can also have a go on the indoor go karts, have a game of tag challenge and a go on the four lane slide.
