STUDENTS applying for full-time higher education courses could be eligible for a £2,000 reduction in tuition fees in the first year.

Up to 22 students planning to attend Wigan and Leigh College could receive the National Scholarship Programme (NSP) which contributes to discounted tuition fees.

The government incentive aims to help students from low-income backgrounds. For information, visit wigan-leigh.ac.uk/higher-education.
