The cyclists at the finish point
THE family of a teenager who died in a motorbike accident have completed a bike ride in her memory.
Leah Davies’ mum, dad, stepdad and sisters were among 50 cyclists who out from Hope Hospital in Salford, where Leah died in August 2012, to cycle 27.5 miles along the East Lancs route to the Walton Centre in Liverpool.
The Lowton family have raised more than £50,000 through their Love Leah fund for the Home from Home Appeal, which hopes to raise £1 million to build relative accommodation at the centre.
