STAFF at Marks and Spencer Food in Leigh have selected Wigan and Leigh Hospice as their charity of the year.
The team based at Parsonage Retail Park voted for a charity to support and chose the Hindley hospice, which provides palliative care for over 900 people across Wigan and Leigh every year.
Phillip Johnson, store operations and Plan A champion, said: “I think the hospice touches a lot of people’s lives and this is why we have chosen to support it.
“We’ve been busy coming up with some fundraising ideas and everyone is really looking forward to getting involved.”
