A WOMEN’S group is appealing for coat hangers and clothes for an innovative project.

Leigh Soroptimists’ Just The Job programme offers help to unemployed women who are looking for work by giving them the clothes and the confidence to do well at job interviews.

Dorothy Bowker, a co-ordinator of the Just The Job team said “We are desperately in need of coat hangers to hang our donated clothes on as we now have no empty ones.

“We are also looking for donations of new or nearly new, good condition ladies work appropriate clothing that we provide to the ladies going for interview. ”

Donations can be dropped off at 85 Church Street, Leigh, email to arrange a time or at the Trust In Leigh office at 18 Market Street, Leigh.
