Public plea from police for Accrington man following CCTV footage release

THIS is a man police are hoping the public can help to identify.

CCTV images were released by officers investigation an assault in the Broadway pub, in Accrington.

Around 10.30pm on Saturday, April 5, the licensee refused entry to a drunken man.

The pair argued, which led to the landlord being pushed to the floor.

PC Graham Hartley, from Accrington Police, said: “I am very keen to speak to the man on this CCTV and urge anyone who may recognise him to contact us.”
