A GROUP of fearless fundraisers have thrown themselves out of a plane to raise money for Wigan and Leigh Hospice.
The 30 brave supporters of the Hindley hospice traveled to Lancaster last week end and leapt from an aircraft that was 11,000ft in the air.
Christine Edwardson, community fundraiser for Wigan and Leigh Hospice, said: “Jumping from a plane isn’t everyone’s cup of tea but we’re very grateful to those who are taking part – the money raised will make a huge difference to people with a life-limiting illness.”
