A CASH injection is on offer to those who wish to make a difference in the borough.
A share of £2 million is up for grabs to charities, community groups and individual residents with plans to tackle the borough’s biggest problems.
The money for the The Deal for Communities Investment Fund has come from Wigan Council’s financial reserves and will be put towards community ideas that address the council’s priorities.
Anyone wanting to bid for money must put in an expression of interest by August 15 and the council wants bids that are focused around children and young people, people with complex needs, older people or building community hubs.
