A TYLDESLEY man has graduated as a weapons engineer after passing the second part of his Royal Navy training.
Nathaniel Holt graduated from HMS Collingwood in Fareham, Hampshire after completing his Phase 2 training with Victory Squadron.
He joined the navy in December 2013 and is looking forward to joining his first ship HMS Lancaster.
“The highlight of my service career so far is the experiences that I gained at HMS Raleigh,” said the 20-year-old.
“I’m most looking forward to meeting new people onboard and travelling on our next deployment.”
Originally from Tyldesley, where parents Stephanie and Jonathan still live, the former Churchills Machine Tools Co. employee has represented his base in both rugby and cricket.
