Atherton arts festival postponed
A FESTIVAL organised by a nature group has been postponed due to bad weather.
The Friends of Atherton Wildlife and Nature (FAWN) cancelled the Arts for Nature (AFN) Festival on Sunday after the Met Office advised against any outdoor activities and issued severe weather warnings for the area.
It will now be held on August 25 from 11am to 11pm at Atherton Cricket Club on Eckersley Fold Lane.
Greater Manchester Local Record Centre will still be leading wildlife walks at the festival.
