Leigh event to mark Older People’s Day
AN event is being held to mark Older People’s Day.
The Sheltered Housing and Information Partnership is holding the free event for people to find out more about the wide range of services, activities and community groups that are available in the borough at Leigh Miners Welfare Institute on Twist Lane on October 1 from 10am until 2pm.
There will be activities, entertainment and organisations providing information and advice for the over 50s on a wide range of issues.
