Vet urges pet owners to get their dogs checked for Movember
MOVEMBER is all about men growing beards and moustaches to raise money and awareness for prostate cancer but one Leigh vet is urging dog owners to get their unneutered dogs checked for the disease as well.
Chad Northcott from Vetcare Limited is providing free prostate check-ups during November as research shows that more than 80 per cent of unneutered dogs, aged five and over, are likely to be sufferers, with symptoms including difficulty urinating, constipation and even lameness.
