PUPILS have been developing their team building skills by taking part in urban activities.
Atherton and Tyldesley Sports Association (ATSA) arranged for 26 children from St George's Central in Tyldesley, Hindsford Primary, Sacred Heart RC and Atherton St George's CE Primary visited the Challenge4Change charity indoor urban activity centre in Manchester.
The children spent several hours at the centre developing their team building skills through a programme of activities designed to encourage bonding between the children and improve their confidence and self esteem.
Lisa Smith, a teacher from Sacred Heart, said:"We had a fantastic time at C4C. The session was well structured and delivered by highly skilled staff.
βIt was clear that the children thoroughly enjoyed their time and I am certain all will return to school with a new found understanding of both themselves and others, life skills which will benefit them in years to come.
βI can't wait to return with more of our students.β
