Sean McCaul, director, Salcaul Limited said: “We are very excited about our plans for Astley Point, we have a great opportunity to create a new entertainment destination in Astley. We’ve worked hard with our architects Cartwright and Gross, and the rest of the project team to design a high quality scheme that will become a focal point for Astley. We are a local company and hope the local people like our proposals as much as we do.”

The public exhibition is taking place before the proposals are formally submitted to Wigan Council for planning approval.

Following the public exhibition it is expected a formal planning application will be submitted to Wigan Council before the end of the year.
