A BICYCLE workshop designed to get cyclists back in the saddle is being hosted by Leigh Neighbours on Saturday.
The free workshop at Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School on Windermere Road from 10.30am to 2.30pm is open to cyclists of all ages.
Susan Gredecki, chairwoman of the Leigh Neighbours community project, said: "Our bike workshops are really popular with residents because they are a great opportunity to get their bike dusted off and given the once over to get them ready for summer.
“Whether your bike is suffering from a punctured tyre, an old brake block or a rusty chain, get along to our workshops, where experts from Wigan-based social enterprise Gearing Up will be carrying out basic repairs and maintenance as well as offering useful advice.
“Getting back in the saddle is a great way to spend time with friends and family while getting healthy."
Leigh Neighbours is on the lookout for women who would be interested in working on a new ladies cycling project.
