HIGH street favourite Roman opened the doors to one of its largest UK clothing stores at Leigh's Spinning Gate Shopping Centre on Friday, April 15.

The new store has created five jobs.

Ayrton Westwood, shopping centre manager at Spinning Gate, which is bucking the national trend by offering shoppers a mall which is now almost fully let, said: "I am delighted that such a vibrant brand as Roman has chosen this centre as the base for its new store.

“It is a positive vote of confidence for Leigh town centre as the addition of Roman enhances our existing retail mix and gives our shoppers another great reason to visit us."

The full range of Roman womenswear is available in the new outlet, which also includes a selection that can usually only be bought via the website.

Store opening manager Trudie Riley-Dyche said: “We’re really excited about bringing our brand to the popular Spinning Gate Shopping Centre, where we know we’ll fit right in.

"The store brings a whole new range of affordable, timeless fashion to suit women of all ages and is the perfect place to shop for a complete head-to-toe look.”
