THE Leigh Neighbours group is again supporting Eden Project’s annual Big Lunch campaign.
The goal is to get as many people as possible across the UK to have lunch with their neighbours annually in June in a simple act of community, friendship and fun.
The campaign sits perfectly with Leigh Neighbours’ aim of building greater community spirit and civic pride in the Leigh West ward.
Leigh Neighbours, a lottery-funded charity project, is inviting groups and individuals to submit an application for funding to hold a Big Lunch event.
The event must be held between May 29 and June 12.
The closing date for applications is 5pm tomorrow, Friday.
