A MAN who was caught in possession of a large quantity of cannabis has avoided an immediate jail sentence.
Mohammed Rezaie pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 12 weeks imprisonment suspended for 12 months at Wigan and Leigh Magistrates' Court on Monday.
The 26-year-old, of Hurst Street, Leigh, was also ordered to do 200 hours of community service and pay a £150 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
