WITH rugby league and singing being her two main passions in life, an ideal day awaits a 12-year-old Leigh Centurions fan after she was chosen to sing Abide With Me before the Challenge Cup Final at Wembley.

Molly Bullough, who will also appear in a special edition of Songs of Praise, was chosen for the honour after being nominated by her family in the Rugby League Challenge Cup Fans Choir competition.

Having spent four happy years developing her love of singing as a member of Wigan Junior Youth Choir, she has already sung at the Royal Albert Hall and given a solo performance in front of more than 1,000 people at the Let's Sing music festival at Robin Park Arena.

But singing at the Challenge Cup Final on Saturday, August 27, will be particularly special as she is an avid rugby league fan, having a Centurions season ticket and regularly attending away as well as home games.

Her family say she is ‘extremely proud and honoured’ to have been selected as one of competition’s 32 individual winners, with fans being selected from entries from rugby league clubs across the UK.

The winners will enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to lead a crowd alongside Songs of Praise presenter Aled Jones at Wembley before the match live on BBC One.

The group will also appear in a special edition of Songs of Praise following their journey broadcast the day after the final
