PRIMARY school children enjoyed a passing out parade after completing a 12-week intervention course run by The School Of Military.
The year five pupils at Leigh Central Primary School were handed their awards by MP Andy Burnham on Friday morning.
Based on Brewery Lane in the town, The School Of Military sees former soldiers act as mentors for children with behavioural issues who are unable to attend mainstream schools.
Its intervention course includes team building, resilience training, military physical training, conflict management and shelter building.
