A DRINK-driver who crashed a car into two other vehicles has been handed a community order.
Philip Collins, of Nel Pan Lane, Leigh, admitted being over the legal alcohol limit on December 4, taking the car without the owner’s permission, driving it without a licence or insurance and possessing a quantity of cannabis.
The 36-year-old was ordered to carry out 200 hours of unpaid work by Wigan and Leigh Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday.
Collins also has to pay £300 compensation, an £85 victim services surcharge and £85 court costs and has been disqualified from having a driving licence for 16 months.
