PEOPLE have been encouraged to 'Brave the Shave' for cancer charity this summer in Accrington.
Macmillan Cancer Support's campaign encourages members of the public to shave their heads in order to raise money for their support services.
The event is free and is open to anyone and everyone of all ages.
As well as raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support, people can also donate your hair to Little Princess Trust.
The charity provides real-hair wigs to boys and girls across the UK and Ireland that have lost their own hair through cancer treatment and other illnesses.
You can sign up to go under the clippers for 'Brave the Shave' by visiting the website https://bravetheshave.macmillan.org.uk.
The event is set to take place in Accrington Market Hall on Saturday, August 19 at 12pm.
