A VIDEO of a daring escape from a police raid this afternoon has already been viewed by more than 470,000 people.

The video, filmed by Lowton joiner Jack Hulme, shows a man landing on his feet and fleeing the scene after jumping out of an upstairs window seconds after three policemen had forcibly gained entry to a house.

Jack, from Lowton, said: “It was quite dramatic.

“A lot of people were out in the street and everyone was going crazy.

“The man just kept on running and managed to get away from the police.”

Jack was working at a care home in Kingsfold, Preston, at around 3pm when he noticed a police van approaching a nearby address.

He moved closer to the house and, using his mobile phone, he started filming a policeman breaking the door down using a specially designed manual battering ram.

The 35-second video, which has gone viral, shows the man’s timely escape as the officer entered the house with two other policemen.

He sprints away from the scene as the officers search the property, unaware that he had fled.

Jack said two people in the house were arrested by the officers and driven away in police cars.
