The nine-mile walk from East Bond Street in Leigh to Ellenbrook in Salford and back on Sunday, October 8, has been organised in aid of the Parkinson’s UK Wigan, Leigh and District Support Group.
Wheelchair and mobility scooter users are being invited to take part.
Anyone who struggles to complete the full distance can use one of the six bus stops along to route to get back to Leigh.

Stewards are needed for the walk.
Anyone wishing to take part in the event or be a steward should contact Jean on 01942 730176 or via e-mail at donagainjean17@hotmail.co.uk.
