A FOURTEEN-year-old girl from Leigh who pleaded guilty to assaulting six people has now admitted assaulting another three.

The latest attacks, all on females, took place in the town on August 20.

Of the six earlier victims, four were females and two were males.

Three of those assaults took place on June 28, two of them were on August 13 with the other on May 8.

The girl, who cannot be named for legal reasons, also admitted intentionally causing criminal damage to a door frame and cushion on August 20.

She appeared at Greater Manchester Youth Court sitting at Wigan and Leigh Magistrates’ Court on Thursday.

The girl was remanded on unconditional bail and will return to the court for sentencing next month.

The case was adjourned for a pre-sentence report to be prepared.
