Waste recycling plant plan for Leigh

PROPOSALS for a 9,000 square metres waste recycling plant on development land at Green Fold Way, off Warrington Road, Leigh have stirred up locals.
Nearby residents will be holding a meeting at the Greyhound Hotel, Warrington Road/East Lancs Road, Leigh at 7pm on Wednesday.
An action group spokesman said anybody who wishes to object to the JWT waste disposal plans but is unable to attend should forward any concerns to the Economy Director for Development, Economy, Waste & Infrastructure, Wigan Life Centre, The Wiend, Wigan. Email planningrepresentations@wigan.gov.uk
