"I am trying to find my grandfather. His name is Peter Taylor. Last known addres was Hardgreves Squire (Leigh). He worked down the pits. I have tried to find him and I've looked at people who have died at Leigh but cannot find anything.
He was married to Margaret Doran. The children in the 1901 census were Ann Ellen (9), Mary Alice (7) and James Baden (10 months).
My father was William Taylor, born in 1905 and was in the the Royal Navy from 1924 to 1934. He married Agnes Thomas at Atherton in July 1928 until they divorced in 1948.
