"My brother William Fisher is looking for an old school friend from many years ago. William would welcome any correspondence from any old school friends from Pikes Lane School and White Bank School.
He attended both of these schools in the 1940s and he has fond memories of carrying school books for Joan (nee Duffy). He remembers that Joan lived with her family in the Oriel Street area of Deane. She had three sisters named Norma, Margaret and a brother Derek. William (Billy Fisher) lived in Tong Street, in the Pocket, as it was always known.
