A BUS service is to be axed and trains are late or cancelled.
So what happened to the Government's public transport policies? The Government might not run the bus or rail companies, but some consistency is called for.
One of the withdrawn bus services is from the Oldhams estate, where not everyone has a car and many people rely on public transport just to get about on a daily basis.
And on one of the busiest train commuter services, it has been revealed that more than a quarter of services were more than five minutes late or cancelled.
Again, we hear promises from bus and rail bosses that things will improve. We want to know when and how quickly - before those promises have a chance to be broken.
