THIS was the daytime scene as parts of Bolton disappeared under a blanket of freezing fog when temperatures plummeted over the weekend. Temperatures fell to -2C at the weekend forcing the cancellation of a number of local football matches, while further afield flights at Liverpool John Lennon Airport were grounded by fog for a time yesterday.
