Hey we are all shocked to hear the news and it is a terrible shame. Everyone who knew the lads know that they were brilliant fellas and it still hasnt really settled in that they are gone. It's fair to say i didnt speak to Jonny recently because i left the school but i know everybody still there is feeling the shock as he was a good lad that everybody knew. My deepest condolences to the families who experienced such a disaster.

I didn't know the lads personally but they were at school with my eldest daughter, who told me the news when she came home visibly upset. I had passed the scene of the accident only a short while earlier and my heart goes out to the families. Life is so fragile and these two boys surely had so much to look forward to and enjoy in the future.

From one parent to another, my heart goes out to the parents of the boys. I cannot imagine the distress and heartbreak they are suffering. My son knew them at school and is very upset. From the comments I have seen they made a huge, positive impact in their short lives that the parents should be proud of and treasure. They will never be forgotten. God bless

I can't say I had the pleasure of knowing Danny, but I do know that I never heard a bad word against him in seven years - quite a feat in any secondary school. As for Jonny, I've been left with the impression of an incredibly decent guy, not afraid to speak his mind yet rarely if ever upsetting anyone. He was well-liked as a result. Today's events have affected me in a way that I doubt will ever leave me, and I'm sure I'm not the only one.

On behalf of all the boys in the year 8 rugby squad, I would like to express our deepest sympathies to both families. As junior players at the school we all looked up to Jonny and Dan. They will be very sadly missed by all boys.

I didn't really know either of you but i just really wanted to send my deepest sympathies to your families. I cannot begin to imagine what they're going through. You were clearly great guys and i obviously missed out hugely by not knowing you. I have never seen our school so quiet, shocked and upset as it was today. You will definitely be missed. Rest in peace. All my love ****

I can't even begin to imagine how all of those who love you must be feeling. It is something that no-one should ever have to go through and my heart goes out to them all.
I can tell that you will be always be missed; at every party, on every holiday, and on every school day.
My love to you both.

Dan played for our junior football club for many years and we are all deeply saddened by this news. The nicest lad you could ever meet, always smiling and willing to help. Many memories and photos from great times with the team, he will be truly missed. Our deepest sympathies go out to Steve, Amanda and Emma.
Rest in peace Dan, God Bless.

I still can't take it in that you have both been taken away from us, you touched our lives and i will be forever grateful for this. I am utterly devastated that I won't be able to see you ever again. I know that you will be smiling down at us from heaven and laughing and joking about us, I will remember the smiles you brought to me every time we spoke. You are both two of my oldest friends and have been taken away so tragically and I will never forget you. My prayers go out to all your family and friends, you have left a great void in our lives.

I love you and miss you both, Lori. X X X X X X X X endless kisses for you both.

Baz, my girls enjoyed spending time with you each day while you waited for the bus and they waited for Mum's taxi - both are devastated that you are gone and can't believe they will never get to share those fun times again. Our heartfelt sympathy goes to your family - we will miss seeing you every day but will never forget you.

Mandy, you, Steve and Emma were so brave yesterday.Daniel is at peace. As you said, Daniel accomplished more in his 17 years than most people do in a life time. He will always be with you, in spirit.

As a parent, the thought of your child leaving home in the morning for them never to return is inconceivable. My son played rugby at school with both Dan and Johnny and as a family we have known the Harrison’s since our sons were together at nursery. Our thoughts are with Amanda, Steve and Emma together with Johnny’s parents and family. Remember the good times and never forget. Rest In Peace

As much as we can try and enjoy the lessons and have a laugh, English Lit feels empty. Probably always will now, I'm going to miss Johnny.

I never got to know Danny much, but on all accounts he seemed a top-notch guy. Rest is peace, both of you.
