WANDERERS fan Trevor Crookell travelled to Madrid with his son, Adam, aged 16, and friend Gerry Murray and his son Jake, aged 16, to watch the match.
He sat just feet from the trouble.
Although he was not injured, he took photographs of fans who were, including the one on the left, and above right.
Mr Crookell, of Westhoughton said: "One man was lying on the floor and was being repeatedly whacked by the police. Other people were being hit on the hands simply because they were taking photos. It was absolutely terrifying."
