A plaque damaged last year has been restored by school pupils.
Bolton Field of Hope, off Beaumont Road, in Ladybridge, was planted by Marie Curie Cancer Care in 2008, to commemorate loved ones who had passed away after nurses raised more than £4,000.
The plaque which marks the field’s significance was damaged, but has now been restored thanks to the efforts of pupils at Westhoughton High School as part of their community outreach work.
