4X4 owners have too much money

I ENTIRELY agree with Paul Hobson over his anger at 4x4 cars.

Firstly, despite the credit crunch and gloom over mortgages, it is obvious that there are still too many people with too much money.

With today's prices one would think that at least this would force them off the road.

Some time ago 4x4 owners were interviewed when their tax was rebranded to a higher level.

Obviously they were not best pleased and told the interviewer that they needed them. OK, this may be the case for a few.

Personally I have always said that the can't afford are made poorer by the can affords, who are causing these shortages. If they couldn't afford to run these vehicles, they would't have had them in the first place.

I am not envious of 4x4 owners and am happy with my small economical car. Remember, shortages and price rises go together like Brown and Hovis!

I would say more like Alcock and Brown. Bread prices have gone up too, who's fault's that? are rich people buying it all up so poor people have to pay more?

"I am not envious of 4x4 owners"

It sure does sound like it from your post..people should be free to drive what they please ( unless it's a BMW X5 with an X5.. ... number plate, please..stop it! )!!

You seem to have a problem with people with money. I don't have an abundance of wealth but i'm not pre-occupied with people that do.

I,ve got a LARGE economical car!it has 7 seats & does 60 mpg O.k. its not a 4x4-but the badge only means that the engine drives all 4 wheels instead of 2,and the engines are the same in both!
So what the devil are you actually moaning about?-Its GOT to be jealousy! Theres nothing else left!

So, if I sell my MPV and Range Rover, make my own bread for my children and sell my £3m house, you poor people will be better off? What a load of codswallop, jealousy raises its' ugly head.
