Making a difference with foster care

Every year hundreds of children in the North-west require foster care.

Foster carers in the area provide vital support and guidance to young people who are unable to live with their own families, but sadly there is a shortage of foster carers in Bolton.

From Monday, May 12 to May 25, Fostering Solutions will therefore be taking part in UK-wide campaign, Foster Care Fortnight, coordinated by fostering charity the Fostering Network, to highlight the urgent need for more foster carers.

During the fortnight, our foster carers and social workers will be holding an information evening at Fostering Solutions, Burnden House, Viking Street, Bolton, BL3 2RR on Wednesday, May 14 (6pm-8pm).

We hope that many people will join us in celebrating Foster Care Fortnight. Contact Heidi Naylor on 08453 700 500 for more information or visit www.fosteringsolutions.com Bernie Gibson Director of Operations Fostering Solutions
