I WAS surprised to read the letter from Terry White regarding the parking campaign by Barry Moss.
To describe it as petty suggests that Mr White has totally missed the point. His concern should be directed at the council officers responsible for the markings that appear to be illegal in many parts of the town.
We are indebted to Mr Moss for the time and effort he has taken in highlighting these issues. It is evident that the council has, following his research, acted illegally.
I would also suggest that those responsible should investigate the manner in which many parking wardens conduct their duties.
