WANDERERS’ hectic upcoming fixture list does not give Dougie Freedman cause for concern.

After next weekend's trip to Nottingham Forest, the Whites have three consecutive midweek fixtures sandwiched in between their weekend concerns.

Games against Derby County, Blackburn Rovers and Peterborough United fall on Tuesday nights, with Hull, Barnsley and Brighton also interspersed.

In all, Wanderers will play seven games in 17 days, but while Freedman admits that will be a mental challenge for his side, he welcomes the thought of extra games.

“On a Saturday you can get a bit of luck, like a man sent off or an offside goal, and if that kind of thing would turn for us it would really help,” he said.

“But mentally during the week we need to keep focused on what we are doing.

“There are a lot of midweek games coming up now but I think that's good. Trust me, I would have liked one on Sunday night (after the Watford game).

“Every game I've got a plan, so if it's Saturday-Tuesday-Saturday then okay, let's get it on.”
